Born in Bolivia, raised in Norway. Vicente studied at Bergen Academy of Art, Korea National University of Art and the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. After completing his MFA, Vicente has spent the last years in Bolivia, radically changing his artistic practice, which among other things includes installation, painting, sound, text and performance. Recurring themes are the relationship between the west and the un-western, migration, and the development of anti-colonial knowledge and strategies. He currently runs the artist run space: El Faro in El Alto where he also resides. For portfolio and more content, visit a link here. 


Nacido en Bolivia y criado en Noruega. Estudió en la Academia de Arte de Bergen, en la Universidad Nacional de Arte de Corea y en el Sandberg Instituut en Ámsterdam. Tras completar su maestría y ha pasado los últimos años en Bolivia, cambiando radicalmente su práctica artística, que incluye, entre otras cosas, instalación, pintura, sonido, texto y performance. Los temas recurrentes de sus obras son la relación entre Occidente y lo no occidental, las formas de migración, la producción cultural y el desarrollo de estrategias y conocimientos anticoloniales.
